A note from me to you...

If you’re here, you’re likely navigating something difficult - perhaps self-doubt, overwhelming expectations, or a major life transition. Maybe you're feeling stuck, struggling with imposter syndrome, perfectionism, or the delicate balance between work and personal life.

Finding the right support is important, so let me share a little about myself to help you decide if I’m the right fit for you.

My Path to Psychology

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been deeply curious about human experiences. What shapes our emotions, how we grow, and how we navigate life’s challenges. That curiosity led me to become a psychologist and executive coach, blending professional expertise with a genuine passion for helping others.

I started my career in corporate consulting, focusing on leadership development and executive coaching. But over time, I felt a stronger pull toward working one-on-one with individuals - supporting not just their careers, but their lives as a whole. Now, in my private practice, I help clients navigate the complexities of both personal and professional challenges.

Who I Work With

I work with adults who find themselves navigating life transitions, workplace pressures, and interpersonal challenges, including the complexities of family and romantic relationships. My corporate background means I often support professionals, business owners, and leaders who are driven to perform at their peak while achieving greater work-life integration and reduced stress. I understand the unique pressures faced by those in the public eye, and my practice offers a highly confidential space for clients to receive support in private. I adhere to strict ethical guidelines and utilise secure Telehealth platforms to guarantee client privacy.

My Therapeutic Approach

My approach is grounded in evidence-based methods, including TEAM CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Interpersonal Therapy. I tailor each session to your unique needs, blending practical strategies with deep emotional support to help you move through anxiety, depression, OCD, and other emotional challenges.

I believe in the strength of the human spirit, the incredible ability we all have to learn, grow, and transform in meaningful ways. My role is to create a safe, respectful space where you can explore your challenges, develop new skills, and gain fresh perspectives.

A Bit About Me

Outside of therapy, you’ll find me walking my cavoodle, listening to podcasts about mindset and personal development, and dedicating time each week to advanced TEAM CBT training with colleagues in the US (I’m actually the only accredited TEAM CBT psychologist in Queensland). And because life is about balance, I also love Pilates, good coffee, and the occasional reality TV binge (much to my husband's dismay!).

At my core, I believe in a simple yet powerful truth: sometimes all you need is one person who genuinely believes in you to create massive change. That's the energy I bring to every single session - pure, compassionate, purpose-driven support that celebrates your innate potential to grow and transform. I'm here to walk alongside you, helping you discover the incredible strength and resilience that already exists within you.

If you’re ready to take the next step, I'd love to hear from you.

Psychologist Emma acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we work, the Yerongpan people of the Yuggera Nation, whose land was stolen nearly 250 years ago. We recognise their continuing connection to land, water and culture, and we pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging. We also extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all other First Nations Peoples today.
